Euroasia Group
Industrial Textile Associates is an independent
consulting firm dedicated to helping clients enter
and/or improve their position in the industrial
textile industry. We believe by providing timely and
accurate information, clients can make business
decisions that are much more likely to succeed.
EAGOC was
founded in 2002 by its principal Ziauddin Ahmed, who
has over 35 years involvement in the industry in
positions of Industrial Consultants including sales,
marketing, product and market development, and market
management.
We believe in
the industrial/technical textile industry, and are one
of its strongest advocates. Our work with our
consulting clients, our efforts in organizing
professional development conferences, and our writing
and speaking promotes the industry and educates about
its opportunities. Want to be a part of it? Companies
with innovation and creativity, and dedicated to doing
what is necessary to service and compete in this
industry, have the best chance for success. Is yours
one of those companies? If so, we would like to help
you achieve your goals.
EAGOC" tells
how we work, who we are, what we do, and some thoughts
on why you should consider using our services. Want to
know our background and expertise go to "Who we are."
If you feel there might be a fit, give us a call and
discuss your needs. If we can't help. Perhaps we can
at least "point you in the right direction."
EAGOC is
pleased to announce that it has signed a collaboration
agreement with Tecnitex Ingenienros S.L./ Detrell &
Associates, headquartered in Terrassa, Spain (near
Barcelona). It's a good fit as both EAGOC and Tecnitex
specialize in business strategy planning in the
technical textile sector, and provide marketing and
market/product development assistance. Each firm has
been in business for 18 years. Tecnitex runs the
Spanish Association of Textile Slings and Lashing
Systems Companies (AEE ESLINTEX) that represents 15
companies in this sector.
It also publishes buyer’s guides, and relevant
industry magazines. Want to do business in Spain, or
beyond, or work with Spanish producers and research
institutes? Let EAGOC and Tecnitex help you attain
your goals.
Consultants work in many ways. Deciding whether to
work with consultants, and which one to use, is often
a difficult question. There must be a good fit. We are
a small company, and pride ourselves on our personal
service. There’s no a “canned” approach or
"put-you-in-a-box" generic solutions here. Everything
we do is tailored to the client and their needs.
While we have extensive experience in markets and
marketing and in product and market development, and
we utilize the services of other independent
consultants (see "Who We Are" and go to bottom of page
to "Associative Relationships") and firms worldwide
with a wide range of industry involvement, there are
may be times where we might not be able to adequately
do the job; we may not have the time, we may not feel
we can do a sufficient job, there may be a conflict of
interests, or it may not be in our fields of
expertise. In those cases, we have no hesitation about
referring you to others who might be able to help.
The people of EAGOC who work on your project are
experienced and knowledgeable about the industry and
their field of expertise. We are objective and know
the right questions, the people to ask --- and, just
as important, we know how to interpret the answers. We
may not always tell you what you "want" to hear -- not
all answers are easy or agree with one's own thinking
-- but we will tell you what we feel you "need" to
know. Substance is far more important to us than show.
We've been in business for over twenty years -- a
milestone for consultancy in this industry -- and are
proud of the work we do for our clients. We want to
give you the information you need to decide whether to
work with us. The links on this site should answer
most of your questions. Let us know if you have
questions or if we can be of assistance.
Ziauddin Ahmed, founder, began Industrial Textile
Associates in 1985. He has over 35 years experience in
technical textiles. His expertise includes sales,
product and market development, product management,
and marketing management. Areas of involvement have
included woven synthetic fabrics of spun, filament,
and textured yarns, as well as experience in
fiberglass and non-woven’s.
Ziauddin Ahmed earned a BS in Textiles, Co-operative
Plan, from London Institute of Technology. He worked
25 years with Shone Group, leaving them in January
1985 (prior to their demise) and founding EABLI (Euroasia
Business linkers International) and now its merge into
Euroasia Group of Companies. His early experience
involved marketing cotton and fiberglass fabrics
before moving to the synthetic fabrics area. He has
seen the evolution of this industry, from cotton, We
know the industry, and we keep up to date with the
industry. The background of Ziauddin Ahmed and EAGOC’S
associates has been important factors in our work
consulting with many of the industry's leading
companies, many more than once, in assisting them to
enter or improve their position in the industry. We
keep up with the industry by a variety of means -
conferences, interviews, publications, and in our
work. Consulting is a substantial part of our efforts
and are most often oriented to market research and
product and/or market development. We, as well as our
clients, have found there is little reliable specific
information about markets and applications in the
technical textiles field. Overall, broad information
and numbers are usually not enough to make reliable
business decisions -- the work must be specific to
your needs. This often requires custom efforts to
fulfill the needs of our clients.
Ziauddin Ahmed
is a strong believer in the technical textile industry
and other various industrial projects worldwide as
well as in North America. He is one who feels the
"glass is half full"; optimistic about the future and
convinced that are many opportunities for those
willing to do the work. If you feel you are one of
those, we would like an opportunity to work with you.
Associative
Relationships: To serve a broader range of client
interests and needs, we have developed and maintain
active, independent relationships with domestic and
international consultants and consulting firms. Click
on this link to find out more about them.
Objectivity
We know that we are being hired for our independent
judgment and objectivity, our technical expertise and
skills, and our concentrated attention to the
resolution of a problem. We pledge to impartially
provide these skills in assisting our clients.
Confidentiality
We will guard the confidentiality of all our client
information. We will not take advantage of inside
information for financial or other gain. We will not
serve two or more competing clients on sensitive
problems without obtaining approval of each client to
do so and only then if it can be done without
conflict. We will inform the client of circumstances
which might affect our objectivity. Most work is done
working under a confidentiality agreement, for our
protection as well that of our client's. For our
client's confidentiality, we do not publish lists of
clients; exceptions are when divulging of the client
is necessary for the work and/or at client's request.
Understanding
Before accepting an assignment, we will confer with
the client in sufficient detail to understand the
problem and to determine the nature of the actions
needed to solve it. Preliminary consultations are
conducted in confidence, on terms agreed to by all.
Understanding what is needed and what work is to be
done, and results expected, is crucial to success on
any assignment.
Qualifications
We will accept only those assignments we are qualified
to perform, and which we feel will provide real
benefits to the client. We cannot guarantee results,
such as amount of cost reduction, or sales or profit
increase, as we have no control on how a client may
choose to implement our recommendations. We present
our qualifications on the basis of competence on an
individualized basis, and develop our recommendations
for the practical, "real world" solution of each
client's problems
Fees
Our fees are reasonable and consistent with the work
to be done. We agree with the client in advance on the
fee basis for an assignment. As policy, we do not work
on a commission basis. We do not accept commissions,
or pay them to others, in exchange for client
referrals; or for the recommendation of sources, as we
feel this would affect our impartiality.
